Singapore Airlines offers compensation to passengers injured by severe turbulence

Singapore Airlines has provided compensation to passengers injured during a flight that experienced severe turbulence last month. Passengers with minor injuries have been offered $10,000 each, while those with more serious injuries have been given the opportunity to discuss an offer. Passengers requiring long-term medical care and financial assistance have been offered an advance payment of $25,000. All passengers on the affected flight will also be refunded the cost of their tickets. The incident occurred when the flight encountered turbulence over Myanmar’s Irrawaddy Basin.
